The International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) is a graduate school in The Hague specializing in development studies and social justice. Founded in 1952, it integrated with Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2009.

ISS teaching and research focuses on critical social science, global inequalities, governance, political economy, environment, migration, and sustainable development. It offers MAs and PhD programs in Development Studies and Humanitarian Studies. It attracts a highly diverse student body from over 150 countries. Research at ISS addresses pressing global challenges. Its alumni network of over 13,000 professionals holds key positions in governments, NGOs, UN agencies, and academia worldwide.

Source International is an Italian non-profit organisation that supports communities affected by environmental pollution, health risks and environmental injustice. Its mission is to make high-quality scientific evidence accessible and usable by citizens, local organisations and institutions. The organisation works on environmental monitoring, citizen science, risk communication, advocacy and technical reporting, with experience in EU and international projects on pollution, climate impacts and community-based monitoring. Its added value lies in combining scientific expertise, fieldwork, participatory methods and public communication to strengthen local evidence and support collaborative action.

Smart Revolution is an Italian consulting firm specialising in European project design, training and subsidised finance, built on the values of transparency, competence and innovation to support businesses and organisations in their growth and sustainability journey. The company works with public and private organisations, educational institutions and third-sector actors, offering tailored support in project management, communication, dissemination, sustainability and capacity-building. In MARMOT, Smart Revolution contributes its experience in Erasmus+ projects, innovative training methodologies and competence-oriented learning, supporting the development of effective dissemination strategies and training activities.

Swedwatch is an independent, non-profit research organization dedicated to promoting responsible business practices and empowering rights holders. We achieve this by exposing the human and environmental impacts of unsustainable business operations. Over the years, Swedwatch has conducted research in nearly 50 countries and published more than 100 publications, focusing on sectors and regions with a high risk of human rights and environmental harm. The research is then leveraged in dialogues and engagement with key stakeholders as well as in trainings, seminars, roundtables, and other initiatives. Through these efforts duty bearers are pushed toward sustainable policy- and practice changes and are empowered to fulfil their obligations and support rights holders in claiming their rights.

Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (NLU) is a leading Ukrainian higher education institution based in Kharkiv, with a mission to advance legal education, research and public service in support of the rule of law, human rights and sustainable governance. NLU’s expertise covers environmental law, climate and energy governance, business and human rights, impact assessment and policy advice. Through its Research Centre “Natural Resources Law & Governance” and International Laboratory on Business and Human Rights, NLU has contributed to Erasmus+, Tempus and other international initiatives. In MARMOT, NLU adds legal and stakeholder-engagement expertise, links the platform to civil society and policy actors, and supports impact tools for communities facing environmental and social harm.

The OHADAC Regional Arbitration Centre (CARO) is a non-profit organisation based in Guadeloupe, France, operating across 33 Caribbean countries and territories. Established in 2021, CARO promotes accessible mediation and arbitration services to support businesses, institutions and communities. Building on extensive experience gained through EU-funded Interreg programmes, CARO develops innovative dispute prevention and resolution mechanisms, including stakeholder engagement and grievance systems for sustainable development projects. Its expertise spans alternative dispute resolution, governance, business and human rights, ESG issues, capacity building and institutional strengthening. CARO brings a unique regional network, international expertise and a strong commitment to inclusive and sustainable development.
